Digipak Planning

Here my Digipak plan as you can see I include evaluation of my actors in it. With their evaluation I'll put evaluation of the song relevant to particular actor and their role in my music video. We also can see the extra pictures which I going to add in my Digipak so people can see more pictures of my actors. Also the album cove I used one of the example which I think going to suit the best (back to back on the bench). I also created the name of the group, my group name is C.J. Simpson and album meme is BETTER THAN YESTERDAY.

Tomorrow I planning to take first photos for my album cover and after that I'll start to photoshop it and add special effects for the photos.

My CD album cover ideas

 Here some of my sketches which I draw in in order to show what i plan to do however I'm soooo BAD at Art.
But i tried my best!

I decided to proved example of real photos which i found in internet which I think will tell everyone what i meant by this sketches.

Magazine analysis - planning my magazine advert

Here some examples of magazine which advertising new albums to the people.  

 For example Kanye West advert done with his hame on the top of the magazine with big bold letter. We also can see number which characterize that his album is number one in this genre. Also we can see some dates and years where this album became very successful. Also we can see some words such as HIT MAKER, MAVERICKS and etc.  This words  give more confidence to reader and make them wanting to buy it.






Adele magazine advert about her new album just showing her picture which album cover on the bottom  and letter AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE NOW. This advert very simple however people know that she released new album now and they can buy it.

 Rihanna having picture of her self from on the front page of magazine,  this picture was used in her album.
In my opinion this advert very simply and just letting people know that album is out





However on Akon advert in magazine we can see picture of him with name of the album which called Freedom. We also can in big letters on a top of magazine NEW ALBUM OUT NOW! This means people know that this album is available to buy now.
Also we can see some names of the trucks which include in this album and description of them in this magazine.

Next magazine advert made by Green Day they put enlarge album cover on front page of the magazine. They put also the date when this album will be available to be downloaded or buy. This very simple advert however they tell everything what their riders want to know!

He put picture of himself on a front cover of the magazine. We can in big letter name of the magazine and name of the signer at the bottom of magazine. Also we can see some information how many copies been sold already and names of signer which was taking part in recording this album and which albums he record before. Also on a back side of magazine we can see the date of release of his new album and name of his album as well.

So we look as couple example and we can see that they have something in common they all telling people that their album been released and they can buy it or when it going to be released. Also all of them having the names of the signer in a big letter on a front page. And all this albums trying to encourage people to buy their album by using some information and records which particular artist is reached in his life. 

Album Cover Analysis - supporting my ancillary planning

             Analysis of real media products to support my ancillary planning.

 One of these albums is recorded by Rihanna. Her album is  called Unapologetic. Another album recorded by Calvin Harris and called 18 Months. This is their albums front covers. It will give me ideas for how to set out mine and so I use the same conventions.

On second picture we can see description which songs present in this albums as we can see text written on the top of the pictures of the artists.

As we can see the poster (booklet)  made in some kind of small  book where we can see enlarge pictures of artist and some period from their lives. However lets look more clothed to each one of them








As we can see on a first page of Calvin Harris album him and list of couple songs which present in album with more decryption about this particular songs how he wrote it and etc.

 However on Rihanna Booklet we can see only some pictures of her and her body parts without an songs description.

Here second page of the both albums. 

On Calvin Harris a another photo of himself playing on concert  and there some more descriptions of his songs which is present in this album.

On Rihanna album we can see picture of her self again and at the same time this picture passing her emoting however we cans see any descriptions of her songs yet but we can see some text which been put between two women's and this probably means something similar to her emotions.

So far we can see particular patten for the both artists for example Rihanna using only photos of her self without any descriptions of the songs just pictures which passing her a motion and experience in a life. Wether Calvin Harris having pictures of him self as well which was been also photoshopped, but he also including some text (description) of couples of his songs on each single page of his work.

We can see this particular patten of this artist for the whole their album booklet. 

 As we can see Calvin Harris booklet have finished but Rihanna booklet still having couple pages left where we can see enlarge description of all her songs.

Also after looking at this two albums booklets we can see that Rihanna mainly using black and white style for whole her booklet wether Calvin Harris using lots of different pictures which playing with colors. 

Feed back from my audience

 I show my music video to some of my intended target audience and I recorded their feedback. They also left feed back for me on my social networks pages such as Facabook and VK.

We can see that I used social network for delivering my music video to my audience and friend in Russia  and  UK however I also used Facebook to distributed my video all around the people which I know and I also get their feed back and likes under the post. 

Shots evaluation - analysis of my camera shots and angles

 I decided to use this over shoulder shot because I thought audience could see emotion of the person who just broke up with his girlfriends combined with  beauty of separated and untouched environment. 

I used this close up shot in order to show audience that person was playing piano for real and it not a fake. I think this gives more persuasiveness to the audience about my actors skills and abilities.

I used two different kinds of shots one of them medium shot which is transferring to over shoulder shot and I used zooming transition in order that audience can feel and understand the movement of the camera.

I used this long shot in order to show the audience two people in one shot . I decide to do long shot because I really liked the place which I chose and environment (leaves on the ground). So I used environment surrounded my actors as impersonation of their relation (beauty).

I alos decided to use over shoulder shot which most of people in their films when conversation happening.  Also this over shoulder  shot can show their emotions and feeling and might even pass it to audience.

I decided to use this medium shot because this shot can perfectly not reflect in the mirror my reflection and also this two shots show emotions and feeling which my actor seem to have in this two shot (lonely and sadness )
